Those of you who have headed to the Mosaic District in the last couple of weeks to stock up on sophisticated separates for fall might have noticed that Anthom has shuttered its Fairfax location. Last month the brand decided to move the store to NYC and open a second location in the Lower East Side (in addition to an existing one in Chelsea). Last year the owners opened their debut brick-and-mortar store in the popular Mosaic District to much excitement and fanfare from local fashionistas and even won Best New Boutique from our staff in this year’s Best of NoVA poll. The store specialized in carrying little-known brands that focused on quality and unique cuts such as Miista, Achro and Cameo. Those who are up for a day trip can shop the new location in NYC this fall.
